The Hank Lighthouse is an iconic landmark known to all Casablanca residents. Located on the Atlantic coast, where it rises, this lighthouse is one of the city's most distinctive landmarks. Designed by French architect Albert Laprade, the lighthouse was built in 1920. Since then, thanks to its modern infrastructure, Casablanca has been propelled forward and, in just a few years, has become the most important port city in the kingdom.

At 51 meters tall, the Hank Lighthouse is one of the tallest buildings in the city. It stands majestically and slender above the turbulent waves of the Atlantic. The lighting apparatus, composed of six panels and a Fresnel lens, can illuminate a radius of 55 kilometers.

Inspired by mosque minarets, the Lighthouse fully embraces its role as a "guide," appearing as a patron saint spreading his protection and blessing over the city. It was thanks to this lighthouse that the port of Casablanca, previously considered inaccessible, was able to develop, fostering the expansion of the country's future economic capital.

The Hank Lighthouse remains one of the most visited and photographed monuments in Casablanca, guiding both ships and passers-by.
