A private museum open to the general public
After the death of its patriarch, the Slaoui family was keen to share with the general public the significant artistic heritage that Abderrahman Slaoui had gathered during his travels or through his interactions with renowned Moroccan and foreign artists. Covering an area of 600 m2 spread over three floors and in an intimate setting, this house-museum charms with the intimate atmosphere of a pure traditional Moroccan house that it recreates. The permanent collection includes paintings by great Moroccan artists such as Mohammed Ben Ali R'bati and international artists such as Jacques Majorelle, orientalist posters of yesteryear and Moroccan jewelry, as well as many other curiosities that will delight art lovers. The museum also organizes temporary exhibitions, workshops and artist residencies.
