Angel Bastion

An expression of Portuguese military architecture in the 16th century, the Angel Bastion is a remarkable example in El Jadida. Built as part of the fortifications erected by the Portuguese to protect themselves from enemy attacks, the clover-shaped Angel Bastion is distinguished by its imposing walls and angular bastions offering views of the surrounding countryside.
