For 20 years in Casablanca, La Toscana has embodied the true spirit of Italian restaurants. Founded in 1985 by Paolo Mori, his wife Marilyn, and Michele Quilici, La Toscana is a family-run restaurant that has created a warm and authentic atmosphere, faithful to their memories of Lucca, Italy. The owners, all originally from this beautiful Italian region, emigrated to the United States in the late 1950s and wanted to provide a place where locals could gather to share convivial moments over food and wine, just like Italian families. Chef and co-owner Giovanni Racanello joined the team in 1986, bringing with him his culinary expertise. Laura Mori Riella and Michael Mori, Paolo and Marilyn's children, also joined La Toscana in 1992 and 2002, respectively. The tradition of making every guest feel at home, while enjoying authentic and generous cuisine, is a legacy that La Toscana proudly perpetuates.
