Located on Rue du 11 Janvier, the Cinéma Colisée is an emblematic testament to Casablanca's history. Built in 1928 by architect Pierre Jabin, this cinema is part of a building integrated into Rue Liberté. Although the cinema is now a warehouse, the building retains its historical value. Pierre Jabin, a visionary architect, left his mark on Casablanca with several notable works. The Rialto cinema-theater, built in 1930, is considered the most beautiful in Casablanca with its Art Deco façade, vibrant colors, and opening roof. It offers a 1,350-seat auditorium, a vast lobby, moldings, and Art Deco stained-glass windows. Among Jabin's other projects are the Trémolède building (1929) and the "Le Petit Poucet" building (1929), known for its bar and restaurant. In 1934, Jabin constructed the Moretti-Milone building, an 11-story structure with a raw concrete base and numerous elevators. The Liscia building, housing the Lux cinema, was completed in 1937 on Boulevard de Marseille. The Villa Cohen, completed in 1931, completes this list of architectural monuments. These buildings remain symbols of the innovation and elegance that shaped Casablanca.
