Murdoch Park, inaugurated in 1907 in Casablanca in honor of British merchant Murdoch, is a historic and iconic landmark of the city. Designed by engineer Albert Tardif, it enjoyed a period of prosperity before falling into neglect and becoming a refuge for delinquents and the homeless.
Since 2006, the park has been redeveloped and renamed Isesco Park. Today, it is a popular green space, offering playgrounds, sports facilities, and shaded walkways.
The park is a popular relaxation spot for families and sports enthusiasts, and it also served as a setting for scenes in Nabil Ayouch's film Whatever Lola Wants.
